About

In 2004 I left Scotland and tempted by the bright lights of the art and music scene I moved to London with the dream of setting up a t-shirt label. Later that year Plane Clothing was born and I started out on the markets of London, first Camden and later Spitalfields and the UpMarket off Brick Lane.

From printing on t-shirts and army jackets I moved to art prints on paper and as my love of and skill at screen printing developed I've printed on a multitude of surfaces from wallpaper to wood, glass, metal, canvas and even old iPhones.

I have produced commissioned work for clients including The Tate Modern, London City Airport, The Marylebone Cricket Club as well as many private individuals.

I have exhibited at art fairs in London, Los Angeles, New York, Munich and Frankfurt.

I would describe my practise as varied but always rooted in the tradition of British Pop Art with Patrick Caulfield my biggest and most frequent source of inspiration.
