Randy's Donuts
Randy's Donuts
Boom. A big, bold oversized print on a dark rust coloured shirt.
I photographed Randy's Donuts in Los Angeles in 2018. That year I made a collection of artworks featuring the neon signs of L.A's diners and liquor stores. I never got round to making an artwork from the Randy's shoot. An oversight I have rectified with this show stopper of a t-shirt.
The print goes from the bottom seam all the way over front of the shirt. These must be pinned to the fabric table to be printed and left to dry in place before moving them. All over prints are difficult and time consuming to get right but the results when you do are worth the effort.
Printed on a regular fit tee. The colours I use are environmentally friendly, water based textile inks, the shirts are 100% organic fairly traded cotton, they have a Co2 neutral footprint and are Peta approved vegan friendly.
They are presented in a custom printed, recycled cardboard box and sent out in custom printed recycled paper mail bags.
